- Kayla Forbes, Reg Biokineticist: Co-owner and practitioner of Fit4Two. A specialised Biokinetics practice presenting exercise programs during pregnancy and postpartum.

What will this webinar be about?
The aim of this webinar is to prove an overview of the current levels of physical activity within the South Africa context, the barriers and perceptions about being physically active and performing exercise. A presentation on the effects of exercise during pregnancy on birth and post natal outcomes will also be presented, with a practical approach to round of the webinar on how to promote regular physical activity and establish and sustain exercise during pregnancy ad postpartum.
During the panel discussion, we will talk about the specific context of South Africa related to engaging with exercise during pregnancy, the perceptions around doing exercise and the longterm outcomes related to both the mother and the newborn.
Target audience:
Future and current mothers, pregnant women, families, coaches, exercise and health professionals, and midwives.
