A new look at exercise and sports during pregnancy and postpartum.

Today, no one questions that physical activity determines the proper course of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, as well as the development of the child. Despite this, so many myths and unfounded opinions have arisen on this topic that women do not really know what they can or should not do during pregnancy. In turn, after childbirth, they often wonder for too long when and how to return to exercise.

In this webinar, we will address many controversial issues, including exercise intensity, training load, abdominal and pelvic floor exercises. We will propose solutions for undertaking exercises that support the health of the mother and child. We will also discuss solutions for training programs at the highest sports level and the current barriers in combining a professional career with motherhood.

The starting point for the discussion will be the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (PTGiP) and Polish Society of Sports Medicine (PTMS) recommendations on physical activity during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Our panelists are outstanding experts, scientists, doctors and practitioners, both in the field of gynecology and obstetrics, sports medicine, as well as specialists in the field of health-promoting physical activity and competitive sports.

If you are interested in exercise or sports during and after pregnancy, this webinar is for you. We will share our knowledge and experiences, but we are also happy to listen to the questions and needs of various stakeholders. We invite you.

The webinar is intended primarily for future and young parents, instructors and trainers, as well as doctors, midwives and physiotherapists.
