6. The cost of doctoral procedure for English speaking PhD candidates
A collection of published and thematically related scientific articles, hereinafter referred to as the „collection”, may constitute a doctoral dissertation in the proceedings for the awarding of the doctoral degree in physical culture sciences at Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport if it meets the following conditions:
- the scientific problem combining all the scientific publications forming the collection was described in an overview prepared by the candidate in Polish or English, called a “paper”, which consolidates the collection;
- the collection consists of at least three scientific articles published:
- in scientific journals included in the list issued by the minister responsible for higher education and science
- at least two scientific articles have been published in scientific journals:
- included in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database and having an Impact Factor (IF) or
- included in the list, which have been assigned at least 140 points each.
The collection may include multi-authored scientific articles if the candidate:
- is the first author and his/her contribution to the creation of the scientific publication is at least 50%,
- submits declarations signed by all co-authors specifying, both in percentage and descriptive terms, the individual contribution of each of them to the creation of the scientific article.
